These Attach Polymagnets are designed to have maximum attachment force in magnet to metal applications. Made from Neodymium magnetic material, these magnets exhibit increased attach force and shear strength compared with their conventional counterparts. The Attach magnetic field is focused close to the face of the magnet resulting in higher peak force and a steeper force vs. distance curve. Application Notes

These Polymagnets provide very strong attachment to steel over their effective range compared to conventional magnets. The primary magnet face is marked during production, and this face must be oriented toward the target steel for optimum strength. The holding strength can be enhanced in many applications by using a thin steel shunt directly against the back of the Polymagnet. These magnets are optimized for use with a metal target.
